Recently the ladies of Christian Life Centre had the pleasure of coming together over breakfast and hearing from two incredible women who serve tirelessly on the mission field.
Firstly, Annette Sharman shared her experiences of pastoring a church in an Aboriginal community on the outskirts of Darwin, whilst also working as a midwife. We heard of her tenacity and perseverance to see Aboriginal people come into an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ.
Pushpa Nabham of Awareness Cambodia then spoke of her journey working with some of the most vulnerable children of Cambodia at Sunshine House and the House of Progress. As there are many children in Cambodia orphaned by HIV/Aids Pushpa spoke of the need to provide them with not only protection and education but also a home and love. Her compassion and devotion to serving God and the children of Cambodia was evident to all.
Both women expressed thankfulness to the people of Christian Life Centre for their support, friendship and prayers. We must continue to pray for Annette & Pushpa and thank God for them and the work that they do!
